    Cancer

Find risk early, not just disease.

The first rule of cancer is do not get cancer. The second rule of cancer is do not get cancer. The third rule is that if you do get it, find it as early as you can, when it is smallest and most treatable. We run some of the most thorough cancer screening protocols in the industry, guided by your family history, your genetics when it fits, and your personal risk. Every screening decision is made together with you, weighing the benefits and tradeoffs so you understand exactly why we are looking, and where.

Our work runs on three goals: lower your risk of ever developing cancer, catch anything early if it does appear, and stand with you across every option if a cancer is found.

Family history and genetic testing tell us where to intensify screening instead of treating everyone the same. When it fits, we offer Galleri (a yearly blood test that looks for signals from many cancers at once), with careful counseling, because no screen is perfect and a positive result is not the same as a diagnosis.

We offer whole body MRI (a full body scan that uses no radiation) through shared decision making, and when your risk warrants it, colonoscopy starts earlier and repeats more often than the usual schedule.

Breast screening uses the Tyrer-Cuzick model (a validated calculator that estimates your personal breast cancer risk) alongside breast density, annual mammography, and added MRI for higher risk or dense breasts.

Because more looking also finds harmless things, we are honest about false positives and overdiagnosis, and no screen is ever decided for you. The two changes that move cancer risk most are not smoking and staying ahead of obesity, insulin resistance, and chronic inflammation, so we work on those with you directly.

This is one part of a complete, personal risk assessment.
